The iRig PRE HD is a high-definition XLR microphone interface for iPhone, that can also be used with Android smartphones with an additional cable. It is the perfect accessory for reporters who want to use XLR handheld microphones as part of their equipment.

The iRig Pre HD includes 2x1.5V AA replaceable batteries for powering its internal pre-amplifier during up to 20 hours of continuous recording and up to 7 hours when used with phantom powered mics.

OPTIONAL Z7 COLD SHOE ADAPTER
Mount your iRig PRE HD neatly on your Shoulderpod G2 grip.

In order to help you mount this adapter on your Shoulderpod G2 video setup, we have developed the Z7. A custom-made adapter that fits neatly into any of the G2 cold shoes, effectively solving the issue of having the iRig hang loose from your set-up. The Z7 replaces the original battery cover of the iRig Pre HD, providing a cold shoe socket that attaches securely to your G2.

IMPORTANT: The Z7’s cold shoe adapter is exclusively designed to work on the Shoulderpod G2 grip. While it might fit other standard cold shoes, we cannot guarantee it will slide in tightly or without getting damaged.
